Neither did I listen to music, write a shopping list or play sudoku, all of which I was tempted to do. (I did, however, formulate these sentences in my head.) It was good, and it needs to become a habit.

I've just made a cup of tea, and, while waiting for it to cool, I decided to just drink it, without doing anything else - without checking my messages or email, without playing with my phone, without writing a blog post, without phoning anyone or watching television... When was the last time I did that? When was the last time I just sat quietly and drank a cup of tea? I don't know. When was the last time you did it?
